Using a Custom Purge Stored Procedure for DB_ADMIN_PROC in ASAP
(Doc ID 1907316.1)
Last updated on NOVEMBER 04, 2022
Applies to:
Oracle Communications ASAP - Version 4.7.1 and laterInformation in this document applies to any platform.
Goal
A customer uses his own stored procedure to perform ASAP db purging, instead of using the default SSP_db_admin. According to the ASAP Admin Guide, the default SSP_db_admin can be customized, but the customer wants to know if they can use his own stored function by setting this in the asap.cfg:
DB_ADMIN_PROC = PL_PURGE_DIARIO # DB Admin procedure (name of their SF)
Is this a good idea? How can they pass parameters to their stored function?
