Messaging Server and Third Party Virus Scanner (Trend Micro/IMSS) Are Both Online, but Mail Is Not Being Processed (Doc ID 1913807.1)

Symptoms

Messaging Server and third party anti-virus scanning system (in this case, Trend Micro's IMSS) are both running and appear operational, but mail is not being processed. When monitoring from the IMSS side, it may appear that messaging server is not handing any messages off to it. If the virus scanner is bypassed, mail is delivered without issue (though, of course, unscanned).

Changes

Changes to the IP addresses and ports used for communication between messaging server and third party scanning systems.
