OC Search in Global Address Book Does Not Search for Umlauts (Doc ID 1923341.1)

Symptoms

When using Outlook Connector and when searching in the global address book, the search fails if the search string contains German umlauts. Searching for the string "Aberg" will find the Entry "Test Abergöker", but searching for "Abergöker" will not find any entry.

Steps to reproduce:

  1. open Outlook (and log in)
  2. open menu Title "New"->"Email"
  3. click "To..."
  4. activate radio button "More columns"
  5. enter search string "Aberg"
    observation: "Test Abergöker" Appears in the resulting list

  6. enter search string "Abergöker"
    observation: resulting list remains empty
