Symptoms
Unable to paste data copied from a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet cell into any of the MetaSolv Solution application fields.
STEPS
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Open MetaSolv Solution and navigate to the Service Request Search window
2. Open Microsoft Excel and enter a customer name into one of the cells
3. Copy the customer name directly from the cell
4. Attempt to paste the copied value into the Company Name field and note it does NOT paste
BUSINESS IMPACT
Due to this issue, users cannot copy/paste data from Microsoft Excel spreadsheet cells into a MetaSolv Solution field. The impact is minimal.
