OFSAA Excel Upload Hangs and Fails With Errors When Uploading Data After Successfully Creating a Mapping (Doc ID 1937147.1)

Symptoms

On OFSAA Infrastructure, Excel Upload in a new instance does not appear to work.  The upload hangs with a spinning hourglass and the following error message is found in the Web Server log file:

ERROR
Uncaught exception created in one of the service methods of the servlet /ExcelUpload/FileHandler.jsp in application ofsaaprd. Exception created : java.lang.NullPointerException

Additionally, a more detailed message is output to the nohup.out or similar file created when you start the Web server:

java.io.FileNotFoundException: /ofsaa/product/ofsaai/ExcelTemp/logs/INFODOM_OFSAAI_EXCELUPLOAD_10.XLS_06.15.2015 03:49:48.log (No such file or directory)


This is the first time Excel Upload is run in this instance however the Excel Mapping is successful.
