Last updated on APRIL 20, 2018

Applies to:

Oracle Communications ASAP - Version 7.2.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

The following Linux packages are required to be installed prior to ASAP installation. If they are missing, various issues may arise during installation of ASAP, or even at runtime.

Typical errors due to missing the packages:

$ASAP_BASE/programs/asc_nep: error while loading shared libraries: libldap-2.3.so.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

$ASAP_BASE/programs/asc_nep: error while loading shared libraries: libsasl2.so.2: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

$ASAP_BASE/programs/asc_nep: error while loading shared libraries: libssl.so.10: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

Setup.product.install, com.installshield.product.actions.ASAPServiceActivationModelPostCheck, err, Configure POTS Service Activation Model - Failed

ASAP Installer fails to start in both GUI and console mode.

When installing ASAP 7.3 the GUI installer stops at 9% without any obvious error.
