How do I install Calendar Server on a server with a worker directory (Doc ID 1949354.1)

Goal

I'm installing an Oracle Communications Suite 7u6 platform with

• the calendar Server 7.0.4.15.0
• on a RHEL6 Server where
• the directory ODSEE is installed but it is configured as a worker server.

The primary directory is installed on the backend server. 

When running init-config, at the level where it applies the ldif file generated from the template schema2usergroup.ldif, it gives an error because it does not know how to work with the "referral" answer of the local LDAP Server .

Is there a workaround to this problem other than point directly to the primary Directory Server ?
