Last updated on JANUARY 24, 2023

Applies to:

Oracle Utilities Work and Asset Management - Version 1.9.1.2 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

In the Physical Inventory module, when entering a New Count, the following error message is displayed:

ERROR
-----------------------
 Difference between Physical Inventory quantities are not within tolerance, Continue?

The Physical Inventory Tolerance Business Rule is set as follows:

Dollar =$300
Percent =0
Results =Warning

The Physical Inventory record has a Quantity = 16, Count Entered=15 and Item Cost = $10.23.

The difference is $10.23, not $300.00, which is well within tolerance. Why was the warning displayed?
