Drop down dependency with auto-selection option (Doc ID 1968368.1)

Goal

Customer desire to have a 2 dependent drop-downs, in which the user select a value in dropdown1 and, automatically, the second drop-down will be fulfilled.
In this requirement, customer needs a way to pre-select a value in which the second drop-down will be automatically fulfilled, depending on the value chose in first drop-down.
For a better explanation please, check both scenarios below.

Scenario 1: (Pre-selected value):

a) Define a dropdown1 field and a dependent dropdownPreselect2
b) In this case the ID of dropdownPreselect2 will be automatically fulfilled once you choose the desired option from dropdown1

Scenario 2: (No pre-selected value):

a) Define a dropdown1 and a dependent dropdown2
b) In this case, no pre-selected value will be available, since this is not the behavior customer desire.
