From UIM UI, Unable To Update Network Location For Existing Physical Device Mapped to Logical Device. (Doc ID 1990222.1)

Goal

When there is a mapping between LD and PD, the option to enter the Network Location code is greyed out in PD Summary page.

Background:
In case a high capacity device has been installed in an area where it is being under utilized due to low density of population, the customer will move this device to a different network location where it can be better utilized.
In this scenario we need to be able to change the network location code for both the physical device and the mapped logical device.
At the moment we are able to make this change on the Logical Device page but not on the Physical Device page.
