Symptoms
FETCH returns envelope header with invalid data
EX:
Fetch Command output:
4 fetch 2 (ENVELOPE)
* 2 FETCH (ENVELOPE ("Wed, 18 Feb 2015 09:55:01 +0100" "@user@Test" ((NIL NIL "hostname" "test.example.tld")) ((NIL NIL "hostname" "test.example.tld")) ((NIL NIL "hostname" "test.example.tld")) ((NIL NIL "hostname" "test.example.tld")) NIL NIL NIL " <19489121.11424249701286.JavaMail.webadmin@host.test.exampler.tld>"))
4 OK Completed
imcheck -m user/<username>/<folder> -c 2
ENVELOPE {380}
("Fri, 20 Mar 2015 09:47:59 +0100 (CET)" "@user@changement d'adresse" ((NIL NIL "Hostname" "test.example.tld")) ((NIL NIL "X8X0401177GG4" "test.example.tld")) ((NIL NIL "hostname" "test.example.tld")) ((NIL NIL "hostname" "test.example.tld")) NIL NIL NIL " <35186074.01426841279319.JavaMail.webadmin@host.test.exampler.tld>")
The last field is the message-id, which is miss spelled. Test.exampler.tld should be test.example.tld. This only affected the message-id information that that was cached, the rest of the message was correct. Looking at the message on disk showed the correct message-id header as well.
