On Oracle Communications Billing and Revenue Management (BRM) version 220.127.116.11, when upgrading BRM from 7.5 PS4 to 7.5 PS10, the following errors are faced during execution of below mentioned upgrade scripts -
1. Run the install.sh script (which is under section - Upgrading the Schema on Multischema Systems):
2. Run the pin_75_75ps10_upgrade.pl script from the UNIX prompt:
pin_75_75ps10_upgrade.pl (Failed on Primary schema but executed successfully on secondary schemas)
and see the following errors (the snippet of fix_multi_schema.log):
ORA-01422: exact fetch returns more than requested number of rows ERROR -- validate_dd failed
ORA-01422: exact fetch returns more than requested number of rows BEGIN PIN_FIX_DD.VALIDATE_DD('<USER>'); END;
ERROR at line 1:
ORA-01422: exact fetch returns more than requested number of rows
ORA-06512: at "<SID>.PIN_FIX_DD", line 318
ORA-06512: at line 1
Below is the error during execution of create_pricing_discountmodel_procedures.plb
ERROR at line 1:
ORA-01917: user or role '<INTEGRATE ROLE>' does not exist
It says - '<INTEGRATE ROLE>' does not exist, so possibly ifw_Roles.sql was not executed in past.
1. Shall we comment the creation of <INTEGRATE DB SID> schema which is part of the ifw_Roles.sql and proceed further with execution of ifw_Roles.sql and then 'create_pricing_discountmodel_procedures.plb' because we do not want to create <INTEGRATE DB User> but need the Role '<INTEGRATE ROLE>'?
2. Post this, should we execute 'create_pricing_discountmodel_procedures.plb' on <INTEGRATE DB> (ifw) schema from both application schemas or executing it only once is sufficient?
