Symptoms

On : 12.0.6 or later

When saving a new instance definition in the Application Instances form, an error like the following is raised

ERROR

ORA-14313: Value 4023 does not exist in partition ST_BOMS_DEF
ORA-06512: at "APPS.MSC_CL_EXCHANGE_PARTTBL", line 1569
ORA-06512: at line 1
ORA-06512: at "APPS.MSC_APPS_INSTANCES_T1", line 10
ORA-04088: error during execution of trigger 'APPS.MSC_APPS_INSTANCES_T1'

--------------------------------------------------------------
FRM-40735: ON-INSERT trigger raised unhandled exception ORA-14313.




STEPS
-----------------------
1. Login to Application.
2. Define a new instance in the instance definition form and save.
(R) Advanced Planning Administrator
(N) Admin /  Instances.
(M) File / Save
3. Observe the noted error.
The instance definition is not saved.
