Symptoms

When attempting to upgrade the P6 EPPM database using dbsetup, the following errors occur after entering in the username/password of the privileged user, reporting user and background job user:

SQLSyntaxErrorException: ORA-04045: errors during recompilation/revalidation of ADMUSER.P6_RPT_CONTEXT. ORA-01031: insufficient privilege


STEPS TO REPRODUCE
-------------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Run manual_script_before_upgrade.sql script
  2. Run dbsetup.sh
  3. Error occurs after entering in the username/password of the privileged user, reporting user and background job user
