MTA Errors Reported With Error Number and The Error String 'No formatted text for errno' On Linux Platform

1) The problem being talked here is not related to mail/message processing on the messaging server/MTA.
2) The problem is that log entry for a message processing failure is showing an incorrect error description for the respective error code.
Symptoms
A user is trying to send a mail to another user at some other MTA. So, message flow is as follows: [User A > MTA 1 > MTA 2 > User B].
So, mail from User A is accepted by MTA 1 and then MTA 1 tries to relay it to MTA2. That relay fails with the following error in the mail.log_current log file:
