CCG Agent Component Error : ERP Username Does Not Exist Or Password Is Invalid when pressing Agent 'configure button'

Symptoms
On : 5.5.1 version, Oracle Configuration Controls Governor (CCG),
When attempting to configure agent
the following error occurs when pressing the configure button
ERROR
-----------------------
ERP Username does not exist or password is invalid.
STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Login to CCG.
2. In ERP Instances > Agent component, enter all credentials, press save > enter 3 passwords : Agent, ERP and System > press proceed; no error is seen on screen.
3. Press Configure button , now get error "ERP Username does not exist or password is invalid".
