Symptoms

In Oracle Financial Services Asset Liability Management (ALM), when running an ALM Process, the process remains in the "Processing" or "Ongoing" status for a long time.  When you check the log files in (pre-806) $FIC_DB_HOME/log/FusionApps or (806 and later) /<ftpshare>/logs/<AsofDate>/<Infodom>/Cash Flow Engine, you see the following error message listed repeatedly:

Additionally, the "ofsrm" executable remains on the server:

ps -ef|grep ofsrm

$ ps -ef|grep ofsrm
ofsaa   22829  7006  0 10:54 ?        00:00:04 ofsrm OFSAAINFOD_202584_EXEC_19991231_1 Cash Flow Engine Task1 19991231 202584 USER1 ALM

As a result of this error, you cannot generate the ALM results.
