Symptoms
P6 Professional client fails to import Primavera P6 XML file and gives the following error message:
- 'Process did not complete successfully. See log file for details.'
P6 Professional client's P6 XML import log file output:

Errors located:
RemainingStartDate: Remaining Start cannot be Null.
at com.primavera.integration.app.importexport.ImportExportAction.d(ImportExportAction.java:370)
at com.primavera.integration.app.importexport.ImportExportAction.b(ImportExportAction.java:190)
at com.primavera.integration.app.importexport.ImportExportMain.main(ImportExportMain.java:36)
P6 web fails to import Primavera P6 XML file and gives the following error message:
- 'Completed with errors. Please see log file.'
P6 web's P6 XML import log file output:
SEVERE: Field StartDate may not be set to null.
