Unable To Remove An OfferProfile (provisioning tag) From Discount Offer After Submit (Doc ID 2032680.1)

Last updated on JUNE 27, 2022

Applies to:

Oracle Communications Pricing Design Center - Version 11.1.0.5.0 to 11.1.0.7.0 [Release 11.1.0]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

On :  PDC 11.1.0.5.0 version, User Interface

Scenario :

Once offer profile is selected for a discount, it cannot be removed it as the value 'None'  is not present in the choice list. It then becomes necessary to recreate a discount and a new bundle to workaround it.

Steps :

*  Create a discount offer in PDC to be used in a bundle (with other discount and charge offers) and then in a package.
*  at the discount level, set a provisioning tag ( to associate an offer profile with policy counter previously defined in BRM ).
*  after the changeset is submitted , come back on the discount offer (in edit mode) and try to remove the provisioning tag, observe that one cannot do so,  as there is no choice 'None' in the list.

Note:

At charge offer level, the issue does not exist as the choice  'None' is present in the list, and so, one can remove the provisioning tag.

Expected :

One should be able to select 'None' in the discount offer , provisioning tag drop down list and hence be able to disassociate the offer profile.

Question :

How can the above expectation be achieved ?
