How to Model a Transceiver In UIM? (Doc ID 2045010.1)

Goal

In order to model some DWDM equipment in UIM , there is a need to accommodate transceivers on ports. 
This KM Note provides the  steps to perform these on Design Studio/UIM , since in UIM we cannot add a transceivers to a port.
