Symptoms

In Oracle Communications Network Charging and Control (NCC), the Charging Control Services (CCS) Partitioning (PART) script /IN/service_packages/CCSPART/bin/CCSPART_maintenance.sh fails to create new partitions for the CCS_BE_CDR table.

For example, when trying to create a new partition for week 24, it fails with the following error in the log file:

The CCS_BE_CDR_Y2015_W24 tablespace and datafiles are created, but fail to be added as a partition to the CCS_BE_CDR table.

Changes

Changes to the number of datafiles supported by CCS_PART.
