On : 12.2.2 version, Engine

Batch Forecast Failure - Few Branches in Dead status

We are encountering this issue of forecast failure in batch mode in our instance on a random basis . The issue occurs with few threads / branches remaining DEAD or disabled and thus resulting into forecast failure.

We have observed defunct sessions emerging on one of the machines after sometime the engine was started. 

The following message appears on the Engine Manager log

 

ERROR
-----------------------
23:29:00:258 Engine (ID: 35, Current Branch: -1 - Haven't taken a job yet. - DEAD. - Disabled.




STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps: 

1. Demantra Engine Administrator
2. Run Engine
