Users Are Allowed to Attempt to Create Sub-Folders Before an Error Is Returned Stating That the Folder Cannot Be Created

Oracle Communications Connector for Microsoft Outlook - Version 8.0.2 and laterInformation in this document applies to any platform.
Symptoms
It is not possible to create a sub-folder under the Inbox folder. This also includes some of the other default named folders. This issue is seen with both Outlook Connector (OC) version 8.0.2 and 9.0. When you attempt to do this, following errors are returned:
OC 8.x:
"Cannot create the folder. You do not have permissions to create a subfolder under this folder. To check your permissions for the folder, right-click the top-level folder, and then click Properties on the shortcut menu. See the folder owner or your administrator to change your permissions."
OC 9:
"Cannot create the folder. You cannot create a new folder here."
Because of this, the user doesn't have a very user-friendly experience, since they think the folder creation is going to work. It would be much more user-friendly if the option itself (to create the sub-folder) was greyed out.
On the other hand, there is no issue with creating a sub-folder under a user-created folder.
