Goal
If a single machine has multiple alias names which map to a single IP Address (for example, a single server which is configured to allow multiple server name references that map to a single IP: host1alias.domain, host2alias.domain, host3alias.domain, host4alias.domain), how can one instance of Oracle HTTP Server (OHS) be configured to allow each alias to distinctly reference a Location or LocationMatch WebLogic proxy plugin element?
For example, from a single OHS instance on a workstation with four server aliases:
- Have alias host1alias.domain configured to redirect to P6
- Have alias host2alias.domain configured to redirect to Team Member Web
- Have alias host3alias.domain configured to redirect to Progress Reporter
- Have alias host4alias.domain configured to redirect to Unifier
