Unable To Open Attachments On MDT Due To Incorrect File Type Configuration (Doc ID 2090219.1)

When working with an attachment from a host system, the file makes it into MWM and can be viewed from the activity server side. When clicking on the Open attachment button in the attachment zone on the activity page, the user is presented with the option to open or save it which works great. However, when the crew tries to view the attachment on the Mobile Data Terminal (MDT), they click download, then open. The file is submitted to MWM as 'file1' without a file extension.  This is a .png formatted image file but the download process saves it locally as a .jpg file.  When opening it, Internet Explorer (IE) does not open it but instead, shows a black X mark on the page. When the file is copied and pasted to another browser, say Chrome or Firefox, it works fine. In order to get it to work in IE, we have to rename the image file to a .PNG and then it works with IE.

Black 'X' in IE since the image cannot be loaded by the browser.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Download attachment on the MDT.
2. Open the attachment.
