(Doc ID 2091374.1)
Last updated on NOVEMBER 15, 2022
Applies to:
Oracle Communications Contacts Server - Version 8.0.0.0.0 and laterOracle Communications Convergence - Version 3.0.1 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.
Symptoms
Using Convergence 3.0.1.1.0 with Contacts Server 8.0.0.2.0 for Address Book access.
When looking for a user in the Corporate Directory via Convergence when it is configured to use Contacts Server, Convergence requests a minimum of 3 search characters to display contacts.
The request in LDAP is too restrictive; the filter is "cn=test*" when entering "test" characters. This permits only finding contacts with "cn" starting with "test". The filter should be "cn=*test*" .
Example of request in the LDAP access logs:
It should be similar so users would have the same results for the same search.
