Priority Attribute of Discussion Appears on Web Client Even After Disabled (Doc ID 2132964.1)

Symptoms

Discussion Object Cover Page attribute : Priority is visible on Web Client through Create New page from Create New > Discussions even when the attribute is set to Visible : No on Java Client.

 

 

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Login to Java Client in admin user
  2. Admin > Settings > Data Settings > Classes > discussions
  3. User Interfaces Tab > Discussion > Attributes:Cover Page
  4. Open Attribute : Priority and set Visible : No and save
  5. Login to Web Client
  6. Create New > Discussions. See the Priority field is visible.
