Last updated on SEPTEMBER 06, 2023

Applies to:

Oracle Communications ASAP - Version 7.0.2 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

Qn1: Using the Oracle ASAP 7.0.2 version, how can we restrict the access to the web service MslvAsapWs based on user name? This is the web service which will be used to submit the work orders using JSRP.

Qn2: Do you see any issue in manually updating WSDL and using transport HTTP instead of JMS?

Qn3: With this approach, do you see any impact to the behavior of ASAP?

Qn4: When we use JMS transport, why are we able to access the web service without user credentials?
