Goal

After running configure:

./configure --xml --noldap --ldif -state=ms8-saveState.txt

Following are set:

role.imapproxy.connlimits = :20
role.popproxy.connlimits = :20
role.submitproxy.connlimits = :20

If they are defaults then why do they need to be set?

In https://docs.oracle.com/communications/F15020_01/doc.810/f15150.pdf#page=338&zoom=auto,-147,166 :

It says that connlimits applies to "http, imap, pop, mmp" as well as MMP configuration, does it apply to both MMP and backend stores?
