Symptoms
Field Precisions not working for a few MCP UI Maps
There were performance issues in loading of the UI Maps on MCP, so we changed the MCP UI Maps for a few BO's while the remaining UI's were kept intact. There are many fragments referenced in the UI Maps. Those fragments were not changed at all.
Now, after the changes are done, the UI Maps with the new approach are not reflecting the textbox limitations given to them via the Field Precision, while the old ones are behaving properly. The fragments referred are same in both cases.

it is not restricting users to enter values as per precision of the field hence, causing failures.
