Get Scalar Details For Demand Does Not Work With Totalized Usage Subscription (Doc ID 2154125.1)

Last updated on SEPTEMBER 27, 2022

Applies to:

Oracle Utilities Meter Data Management - Version 2.1.0.3 to 2.1.0.3 [Release 2.1]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

On Meter Data Management version 2.1.0.3, the Get Scalar Details usage rule does not find the peak demand value for the first day of the billing period if there is more than one service point included in the usage calculation.

For example, a user has a usage rule that totalizes based on the voltage. For example, if there are 3 service points, 2 share the same voltage and 1 has a separate voltage, the get scalar detail rule does not recognize the first daily peak measurement in the billing. If the beginning of the period is 5/31/2016 12AM and a peak value occurs on that day at 5/31/2016 10:44 AM, MDM indicates no measurement is found for 5/31/2016 12AM even though the MC is measuring peak demand. It is expected that it would recognize the peak that occurred at 10:44AM.
