Convergence - can ads be suppressed from being displayed at all on a per user basis? (Doc ID 2156555.1)

Oracle Communications Convergence - Version 3.0.1 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

Can Convergence display a certain ad to certain users when those users meet specific criteria?  Can ads be suppressed from being displayed at all on a per user basis?

Example: My org wants to encourage users to register for a particular service. We can use ads (Skyscraper for example) in Convergence to advertise that service registration. However, once a user registers for the service we would not want that user to see the ad, which would be done by using a custom LDAP attribute on the user. If that attribute is not present, Convergence would display the particular/default ad. If the attribute was present with a particular value, the user would either A) see no ads at all (ideally) or B) see a different ad (less ideal).   That way, if a user registers for the service they won't see any ads in their Convergence UI, based on Convergence fetching some external parameter (such as the LDAP attribute mentioned previously).
