Discount Filter is not Allowing the Generic Selector Result Names

Symptoms
On : 11.1.0.7.0 version, User Interface
The user is trying to create a discount filter applicable only for results which comes out from the generic selector. There is an option available in the filter to which one can associate the result names from a generic selector. Unless the "Impact Category" can have an option to be searched and selected, there is no search option and it looks like a free text field.
ERROR

It throws an exception stating the particular generic selector result is not valid: "Field genericSelectorResult has an invalid value"
STEPS
-----------------------
1. Create Impact category/generic selector combination in the usage rateplan.
2. Create a rateplan XML, for example:
