Mail Sent To root Delivered To Wrong Mailbox

Mail sent to root (ex: is getting delivered to the wrong mailbox.

We changed a mailAlternateAddress from one entry to another and the mail is still delivered to the old mailbox.



used to be set for the account:
dn: uid=admin_user,,o=isp

is now set on the account:
dn: uid=sysops,ou=people,,o=isp account

(and was removed from the previous account)

Since the change, mail sent to is still going to the inbox for the admin_user account instead of the sysops account.
