Goal

On 12.2.5 Constrained Planning in Test

Users are on 12.2.5 and have applied consolidated update #2 patch 22493520

ASCP Plan = Constrained with detail scheduling 30 days/4 weeks/22 periods - anchor date of the plan is 22-AUG-2016
MSO: Lead Time Control = Violate minimum processing times to meet demand due date.

Users notice when they review demand due dates vs supply due dates, sometimes they see differences in the two dates that they cannot explain.

Example data:

Item = JM123
Org = TST:M1

They have a sales order with the following dates:

Sugg Ship Date = 30-SEP-2016
Scheduled Ship Date = 28-SEP-2016

They expected the dates above to be the same. They also have further out in the future sales order with the following dates:

Sugg Ship Date = 28-FEB-2017
Scheduled Ship Date = 17-FEB-2017

Again the dates were expected to be the same. Is there an explanation for this output or is it a code issue?

They also note the lead times for items do not appear to honored in the plan output.  Planned orders Suggested Order date, suggested ship date, suggested dock date and suggested need date do not appear to be correct

ASCP Plan = Constrained with detail scheduling 30 days/4 weeks/22 periods
MSO: Lead Time Control = Violate minimum processing times to meet demand due date.
Calendar is 5 on, 2 off with no holidays.

Consider the following example with plan anchor date = 22-AUG-2016
Item = JM123
Org = TST:M1
Pre-Proc LT = 10
Proc LT = 75
Post-proc LT = 5

There's a planned order due 31-JAN-2017 with the following date fields

Sugg due date = 31-JAN-2017
Sugg dock date = 31-JAN-2017
Sugg start date = 05-SEP-2016
Sugg order date = 22-AUG-2016

Expected dates for the above:

Sugg due date = 31-JAN-2017
Sugg dock date = 24-JAN-2017 (5 on 2 off calendar and 5 day post proc LT)
Sugg start date = 11-OCT-2016 (Proc LT = 75)
Sugg start date = 27-SEP-2016 (Pre Proc LT = 10

Also further out in the future than this planned orders don't seem to honor lead times. Another planned order for the same item due 31-MAR-2017 with the following date fields:

Sugg due date = 31-MAR-2017
Sugg dock date = 31-MAR-2017
Sugg start date = 11-NOV-2016
Sugg start date = 11-NOV-2016

Clearly the lead times above do not seem to be honored.  Is there an explanation for this output or is it a code issue?
