ATP Not Considering Cumulative Total Lead Time of Standard Make Item (Doc ID 2181493.1)

Last updated on JANUARY 23, 2023

Applies to:

Oracle Global Order Promising - Version 12.0.3 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

When scheduling sales orders, there is a need for ATP to consider both the top-level make item, and the longest lead time (LT) of any of its components, when on hand is not available.
For example, Item A (Standard Make) has a Processing LT of 10 days which is = Fixed LT, and the component B which is a buy item has lead time of 40 days.
When there is no onhand, it should take 50 days

Currently, it is only calculating 10 days when scheduling sales orders for this top-level make item.
