Error in Cancel Product: PIN_ERR_NULL_PTR (Doc ID 2181929.1)

Goal

On : 7.5.0.14.0 version, Subscription Management

Calling the PCM_OP_CUST_SET_STATUS to close the service failed with the error PIN_ERR_NULL_PTR.

The error in cm.pinlog:

 

Consider this scenario:
================
1) The account is a production account active since 2013 and has been successfully billed every month.
2) The product configuration has been modified with adding new rate plans in July 2016.
    Originally, the product has cycle_forward_monthly event only.
    After modification, the product has other cycle_forward_* ( quarterly, semi-annually, annual) events added.
3) Now, when cancelling the product by calling PCM_OP_CUST_SET_STATUS, the opcode failed with NULL Pointer.
