'Datasource connection failed.' Error on Datasource Test Connection When Datasoure Name has (Doc ID 2185709.1)

On : 8.6.6.2056 version,

When attempting to Test Connection after changing Database apps password ,
the following error occurs.

ERROR
-----------------------
Datasource connection failed.

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Navigate to Setup and Administration > Manage Application Datasources.
2. Select the datasource.
3.Click on the pencil icon that opens the Create Datasource window.
4.Delete existing Password and enter the new password for apps.
5.Click on Test Connection. You see the following message.

Datasource connection successful.

6. Click on Save and Close button.
7. Click on Actions > Test Connect. It shows the following message.

Datasource connection failed.
