Inconsistent XML Parsing of Empty Elements in the app.xml File (Doc ID 2192547.1)

Goal

Oracle Communications SelfReliant's app.xml is not recognizing empty XML attributes in the format "<NAME />". When used in app.xml, the response is that the attribute is not recognized. If the equivalent XML empty attribute format of is used "<NAME></NAME>" SelfReliant recognizes and acts correctly.
