PDC Upgrade Without BRM Upgrade

Goal
On : 11.1.0.8.0 version, PDC upgrade without BRM upgrade.
The user is currently using PDC Patch Set(PS)6 and BRM V7.5 PS11 and is planning to upgrade PDC to PS8 around a month before upgrading BRM to7.5 PS15.
The user is also planning to stop using the PDC/transformers until upgrading the BRM and will start using PDC/transformers once BRM has also been upgrade to 7.5 PS15.
Is PDC upgrade (which would install the upgraded RRE and BRE transformers) changes anything on the BRM install?
Will BRM 7.5 PS11 working with PDC/transformers PS8 (PDC will not be used and transformers will not be running)?
