Configure promote_content Script to Automatically Archive "applicationExportDir" Contents With Each Run (Doc ID 2199139.1)

Goal

In Oracle Commerce 11.2, when the "promote_content.sh" script generates .zip files on disk, it is not purging old ones.  

When we check the "applicationExportDir" location for the application (for example, C:\Endeca\ToolsAndFrameworks\11.2.0\server\workspace\state\repository\[appName]) there is an accumulation of content zip files from previous content promotions.  

How can these old zips be managed?
