prack_support Parameter from sca.config File is Not Working Correctly (Doc ID 2201335.1)

Last updated on JULY 29, 2024

Applies to:

Oracle Communications Network Charging and Control - Version 4.4.1 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

The problem is that SCA(Session Control Agent) prack_support parameter from sca.config, has a incorrect impact on the PRACK message.

It happens with Oracle Communications Network Charging and Control (OCNCC/NCC) 4.4.1 in the following conditions :

1).For sca.config with prack_support=false
In this case the PRACK(Provisional Response Acknowledge) message is sent from the Node A to be forwarded to the next node(node B) by SCA. This is leading node B to continuously re-transmit the "183 Session Progress" message to the SCA, until a "500 Server Internal Error" message is sent due to no response from SCA.

2). For sca.config with prack_support=true
In the first INVITE it can be seen that the support header has: "resource-priority, siprec, 100rel" set.
