The mslvDataSource Data Source Fails to Initialize During WebLogic Server Startup for "IO Error: Connection Reset" (Doc ID 2221050.1)

Symptoms

The mslvDataSource data source fails to initialize during startup for "IO Error: Connection reset", but all the other data sources are properly created.  However, after the application server is up and running, the mslvDataSource data source can be started using the WebLogic Server Administration Console and works fine until the server is restarted again.  The problem occurs in one of the DEV environment servers which is a VM running Linux.

Recreation Steps

Start the WebLogic Server where the MetaSolv Solution application (nur.ear) is deployed.


Business Impact

Due to this issue, the mslvDataSource data source must be started using the WebLogic Server Administration Console after every startup of the application server.
