OSM Install Fails to Retrieve Available Tablespaces with Java.lang.ClassCastException xmlbeans.XmlObject cannot be cast Error (Doc ID 2222588.1)

OSM New installation with Oracle Database version

OSM Installer not able to fetch tablespace details and the following error message is received in Interactive Mode :

Fail to retrieve available tablespaces in Oracle Server specified. Please contact your Database Administrator to create tablespaces , or change to another Oracle Server and try again.

Connection to database with "sys as sysdba" user was successful but it failed when it tried to fetch tablespace details. Capture from InstallLog.txt ( there is no database log created )
