Symptoms
On Oracle Communications Billing and Revenue Management (BRM) 7.4 environment, having Oracle 11g client installed, the bellow error appeared when trying to run pin_sub_balance_cleanup utility:
For BRM 7.4 running on Linux platform, these are OCI libraries used for database access:
liboci11g6312d.so -> 11g Oracle client
liboci10g6312d.so -> 10g Oracle client
liboci6312d.so -> 9i Oracle client
The code which has to be used in $PIN_HOME/apps/pin_subscription/pin.conf should be as follows:
db_accesslib = oci10g63 -> if using 10g Oracle client
db_accesslib = oci11g63 -> if using 11g Oracle client
db_accesslib = oci63 -> if using 9i Oracle client
