ImportExportPricing Utility Failed with Validation Error "..invalid regular expression "*"" (Doc ID 2238729.1)

Symptoms

On : 11.1.0.8.0 version, Import Export Utility

Validation errors as below were observed while using ImportExportPricing utility which caused the migration of the setup data to fail.
When the user was updating a pricingmodel (with name for example PS2) from PDC, there was commit error "Cannot update Pricing object in the changeset" in UI.
