Symptoms
On : 7.0.5 version, MTA
long attachment filename gets mangled by MTA.
In the submitted message, there is a MIME part with:
filename="prf3_sa_xxxxx_208116@example.com_<prf3_sa_xxxxx_208116@example.com>_________9_1_inl.jpeg"
Which is fixed to:
Content-type: image/jpeg; name*0="_xxxxx_208116@example.com_<prf3_sa_xxxxx_20";
name*1="8116@example.com>___";
name*2="______9_1_"; name*3=inl.jpeg
Content-transfer-encoding: base64
Content-disposition: inline;
filename*0="_xxxxx_208116@example.com_<prf3_sa_xxxxx_20";
filename*1="8116@example.com>___";
filename*2="______9_1_"; filename*3=inl.jpeg
…with prefix prf3_sa_ being truncated. The other file name in the email gets truncated too.
