PSUB Jobs Fail With "Error creating dir" Error (Doc ID 2243744.1)

Symptoms

When attempting to run PSUB jobs the following error appears in the log

Message received:ENTERED_IN_BATCH_JOBS, batch_job_id=ID,
 user_name=OPS$USERNAME
/opapps/pusb_log/username user log dir
User Log directory: /opapps/pusb_log/username
Directory /opapps/pusb_log/username does not exist.
Making Directory.
Error creating dir /opapps/pusb_log/username
Returned status = -1
Error creating User directory
Waiting to receive message from client....

 

Changes

Recently upgraded database from 4.6.x to 5.x
