Batch Status Not Showing Correct Or Consistent Status

On CCB v22.214.171.124.0
User has noticed that when a Batch job fails, the Batch status on the Batch Submission screen goes to "Completed" and the Status in the Batch Run Tree remains at "in Progress".
It happens on any failing batch, not the successful batch.
