Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

On :  11.1.0.7.0 version,

1. Does PDC allow to configure charge offer to give a special rate till threshold of sum of call duration and then applies a normal rate?

The business requirement is that data usage till a particular duration threshold will be charged with a special rate; and after the duration threshold is breached, data usage will be charged with a normal rate.

Can this be achieved through PDC and in ECE?

Exact requirement and scenario as below:
Customers will purchase time based plans, which will function independent of any other data plans on the network. The plan would have a fixed number of hours available to the customer within a time window (1, 7, 30, 60 or 90 days – similar to what was for volume based bundles).

In this model, a subscriber will be granted a fixed amount of browsing time, say 10 hours, valid for 30 days. This means that subscriber will have screen time of 10 hours within 30 days. the subscriber can pause and resume browsing anytime within 30 days until this 10 hour browsing time is complete.

Note: that rules are set against the number of seconds, hours, or minutes consumed, and not against volume.

2. How to get the data usage duration during charging? Do we get the session duration during the ongoing session?
